In this Excel video tutorial, we gonna see how to solve a Excel Assessment Test for Job Interview with Questions and Answers step by step.

We will learn how to use Excel functions and some Excel features and tools, such as, Sum function, Average Function, Sumif Function, Vlookup Function, Pivot Table, Conditional Formatting and Charts.

Sum Function. Purpose: Adds together a range of numbers.
Reallife example: Budgeting: Sum up expenses for a month to get the total expenditure.

Average Function. Purpose: Calculates the average of a range of numbers.
Reallife example: Grade Calculation: Find the average score of a student across multiple subjects.

Sumif Function. Purpose: Adds the values in a range that meet a specified condition.
Reallife example: Sales Analysis: Sum sales amounts for a specific product.

Vlookup Function. Purpose: Searches for a value in the first column of a range and returns a value in the same row from a specified column.
Reallife example: Inventory Management: Find the price of an item based on its product ID.

Pivot Table. Purpose: Summarizes data from a large dataset to display it in a more organized manner.
Reallife example: Sales Reporting: Create a summary of total sales by region and product category from a dataset of transactions. This helps in quickly understanding which regions or products are performing well.

Conditional Formatting. Purpose: Changes the appearance of cells based on specific conditions.
Reallife example: Highlighting Performance: Highlight cells with sales figures above a certain threshold in green and those below in red to quickly identify high and low performers.

Excel Chart. Purpose: Visualizes data in various chart forms like bar, line, pie charts, etc.
Reallife example: Trend Analysis: Create a line chart to show sales trends over the past year, making it easier to identify patterns or seasonal variations.
