Excel's UNIQUE function returns a list of unique values in a list or range. If you have a column in Excel for "Country" and listed are USA, USA, France, France, Belgium, Spain, Belgium, and France, the UNIQUE function will return USA, France, Belgium, and Spain. The UNIQUE function can return distinct values or unique values.

Syntax of Unique
=UNIQUE(array,[by_col],[exactly_once])
