Gymnastics for the neck, exercises for the treatment of cervical "osteochondrosis".
These exercises are useful for chronic neck and shoulder pain – that is, for pain in the collar area. In addition, our exercises help to relieve spasm of the neck muscles. For acute neck pain caused by cervical myositis, these exercises are also effective, but only in combination with nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs.

Contraindications to gymnastics.
Therapeutic gymnastics is a fairly serious method of treatment, which has its own contraindications.
For all their usefulness, these exercises should not be performed •
* with fresh neck injuries or sprains of the neck muscles;
* in case of instability of the cervical vertebrae;
* with cervical vertebral prosthesis – the socalled stair displacement of the cervical vertebrae;
• with fractures or other serious injuries to the vertebrae of the cervical spine;
• with raised body temperature (above 37.5 ° C); with flu, ARVI and sore throatyou need to wait for recovery and wait another 34 days;
* at least 3 months after operations on the neck, throat, tonsils or thyroid gland; in the future only in agreement with the operating surgeon.
Attention! If a particular exercise causes sharp pain, it means that it is contraindicated for you or you are performing it incorrectly. In this case, it is better not to do it, or at least postpone it until you consult with your doctor.
Rules for performing exercises.
You need to do exercises daily, 12 times a day, for at least 34 weeks. But you can do them all the time, if you do not have the contraindications described above.
When performing exercises, be careful and do not allow sharp pain.
Although moderate tolerable pain caused by stretching the neck muscles, when performing these exercises is almost inevitable. The main thing here is not to overdo it. You need to stretch your neck very carefully and gradually!
