This is an ink drawing of a custard apple, one full to show the general shape of the fruit and one cut in a crosssection to show the seeds. I made it for the prompt of Day 4 of Inktober—Exotic, which I interpreted to mean something of a more tropical context—as custard apples grow in tropical climates. I mapped out the base composition, refined it into a sketch, inked over the sketch, and added screentones to develop visual interest and depth to complete the drawing.
