Oliver fan John Schoenauer of Nebraska gives us the scoop on the one and only Oliver XO121. This experimental tractor that was never sold was built by Oliver in 1953 to test an engine with a high compression ratio of 12 to 1. This would allow more power from the same size engine with the use of a high octane fuel. The XO121 was in the Floyd County Museum in Iowa for many decades, but has recently been brought back to running condition and has drawn legions of Oliver fans at summer shows.
