In this video, I explain how I find woodland compositions—a complete walkthrough from the camera's point of view.

Last week, fellow Professional Photographer, Paul Thomson and I headed to the Lakes to create a few woodland images. Due to the unsavoury conditions, finding compositions was never going to be an easy task. Because of this, I decided to focus my video on how I go about finding compositions when the going is tuff!

Luckily, Paul accepted a small challenge of creating woodland compositions too. Standing in the same spot and pointing his camera in the same direction, Paul discovered completely different compositions from me. It just goes to prove that we've all still got plenty to learn.

In the afternoon, Paul and I headed to other woodlands in search of Bluebells. I was dumbstruck by how incredible the bluebells looked this year. They were plentiful and blooming great, pardon the pun!

I included my favourite bluebell images towards the end of the video.
