A delegation of Bihar’s political parties led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday to discuss their demand of a castebased census. Since 1941 every census published in India had data on Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes but not on OBCs or Other Backward Class. Several communities in India have time and again demanded reservation under OBC category. There are many arguments both in favour & against a castebased census.
