Lake Toba is the largest volcanic lake in the world and the largest lake in Indonesia. It stretches about 100km long and 30km wide. Lake Toba is one of my most favourite place in Indonesia with its natural beauty and less touristic compared to Bali or East Java. Majority of the locals here are Batak people and they're very friendly towards foreigners. Accommodation here are also relatively cheaper compared to many other places in Indonesia.
