Episode 1 ✨

In this episode we are exploring the gardens of an historic mansion in the English countryside. This writer's retreat once belonged to the poet and writer Vita SackvilleWest and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson.

Dating to around the 1560s, Sissinghurst is made up of an Elizabethan Manor House and the gardens, as we see them today, are the results of Vita and Harold's careful planning and experimental planting since the 1930s.

It’s late May and the garden has sprung to life after a long, grey winter...

I hope you enjoy this episode.
