Pino and Luigi are two longtime colleagues with a passion for the restaurant industry that has been with them since childhood. They worked together in a famous pizzeria in Turin until they decided to open their own business in 2016.

The name of the pizzeria, "Pizzeche 'e Vase", is a funny quote from a famous Neapolitan song that says "Pizzeche e vase nun fanno pertose". Literally, "pizzicotti and kisses don't make children".

Both are strictly Neapolitan: Luigi from the Rione Sanità district while Pino from the Via Pigna area.

Luigi attended hotel school and has never left the restaurant world since then. Pino, on the other hand, has been working in this field since he was 13 years old and before opening the pizzeria he was the director of the Pizzeria Regina Margherita, one of the most famous in Turin.

The products used for the pizzas and Neapolitan dishes are strictly of Neapolitan origin: provola, buffalo mozzarella, fior di latte mozzarella, peeled tomatoes, Piennolo tomatoes, yellow tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil.

In addition to the classic Margherita and the authentic Neapolitan pizzas such as the Agropoli with fior di latte, pancetta, arugula and grana flakes or the Pompei with tomato, provola, spicy salami, basil and grana... Luigi and Pino also bake a wide selection of delicacies, such as the antipasti mix with arancini, montanara, mozzarella in carrozza, zeppole and fried zucchini flowers.

There are also classic Neapolitan dishes, such as the genovese, the potatoes with provola and the typical desserts, such as the baba, the pastiera and the sfogliatelle.
