External Snapping Hip Syndrome:

External snapping hip syndrome is a condition characterized by an audible or palpable snapping sensation around the hip joint during certain movements.
It is most commonly attributed to the iliotibial band moving over the greater trochanter of the femoral head during hip movements in flexion, extension, and external or internal rotation, leading to pain and discomfort.

This condition is common among athletes, runners, and in individuals with hypermobility. ⚽‍♀

Symptoms may include snapping or clicking sounds and lateral hip pain in the affected hip.

Physiotherapy can help in treating this condition through targeted exercises ‍⚕
