Extreme BNSF Trains in the Columbia River Gorge

MichaelLovesTrains

4K One of the finest places to watch BNSF freight train action in the Pacific Northwest, is the Columbia River Gorge. Forming as a "natural border" between the states of Washington and Oregon, the Columbia River is also home to the BNSF Fallbridge Subdivision, on the north shore of the river. With plentiful train action, and endless scenic vistas, it's no wonder why it's a popular destination for some train watching.

Also included are two bonus shots from the Oregon Trunk Subdivision. Stretching from the south side of the Columbia River near Wishram, the Oregon Trunk provides a vital North/South link for BNSF trains traveling to California and the Pacific Northwest.

Footage is shot from Skamania to Roosevelt, WA along the BNSF Fallbridge Subdivision.
Oregon Trunk footage from along the Deschutes River Gorge.
