F1's Insufferably Broken Penalty System

The F1 penalty system is increasingly broken the more you take a look at it the more you notice inconsistencies inside. It's system that is very reminiscent of the legal systems. We have around the world. You'll start to realize how broken they truly are. Similar cases having to completely different outcomes. Inconsistent judges that don't follow the foundations of the rules set and disproportionate punishments that often don't fit the crime. Is what our present in both of these systems? We've seen this with Fernando Alonso and his 20 second penalty in Australia. Where it was given because the stewards took a look at the outcome of the incidents whereas they shouldn't have. Lewis Hamilton ramming into the Aston Martin's in the Miami Sprint race did not get a penalty while Logan Sargent got a penalty for accidentally overtaking under the safety car which could have been blamed on the team, but he got penalty points for it and the same penalty points were given to lance stroll when he crashed into Daniel Ricciardo because he was not aware of his surroundings. It's so painful to see how the FIA judges incidents wong almost every single time.

The 10second penalties of a very amazing change. and something that I'm really happy about personally because the FIA is finally now enforcing these rules. However, are they fair when compared to other penalties that have been enforced? I don't think so. The penalty point system in particular is the most flawed one. They're meant to control how drivers behave on track and they might have gotten it right for Kevin Magnuson, but for a case like Fernando Alonso making contact with Carlos Sainz in the China Sprint. That does not deserve the same penalty or more penalties. Than land stroll ramming straight into Daniel. There's a lot of flaws and inconsistency is by far the biggest perpetrator behind all of these problems f1's penalty system has. The FIA just needs to follow the rule set of basing penalties based off of a fence instead of outcome, but they keep going back and forth. Confusing fans.
