Remake of Super 8 mm Film which was recorded with a Kodak Instamatic M6 camera without sound.
Scanned with Kodak Reels device. Postprocessed with Vegas pro 20 with Neat_Video plugin, Cleaning dust in flight scenes with Corel Photopoint on series of single frames. Final output stabilizing and speed correction to 18 FPS with Film 9.
Film 9 is doing a fine job in degraining and stabilizing as well as automatically creating a 18 FPS MP4 file. (Interpolation fails for flight scenes, as does dust removal, because airplanes are considered as dust an they disappear). It seems to be advantageous to first run Film 9 and use the output as the base for editing in Vegas.
