從貓空纜車指南宮站出發攀爬猴山岳再走至草湳大榕樹然後走岐山古道返回貓空纜車指南宮站剛好環繞一圈有攀岩的艱難挑戰也有悠遊古道的輕鬆悠閒路程時間約3~4小時。
Startingt from Maokong Gondola Zhina Temple Station, climb Houshanyue (Monkey) Mountain, then walk to Caonan Big Banyan Tree; then taking the Qishan Historical Trail back to Maokong Gondola Zhina Temple Station, just a circular route; there is difficult challenges route for climbing, but also the easy route of walking the historical trail Leisurely. the journey time is about 3 ~ 4 hours.

Houshanyue Front Peak → 20 minutes → Mt. Houshanyue Main Peak → 30 minutes → Crossridge Saddle Chashan Historical Trail → 25 minutes → Caonan Big Banyan Tree → 3 minutes → Qishan Historical Trail Entrance → 30 minutes → Qishan Historical Trail Exit → 10 minutes → Maokong Gondola Zhina Temple Station → Approximately 4 hours (including rest and filming)

★大眾運輸搭乘貓空纜車至指南宮站步行3分鐘至猴山岳步道入口。
★自行開車Google地圖衛星導航輸入「指南宮後山停車場」指南路三段157巷即可導航至指南宮後山免費停車場位於貓纜指南宮站旁。
★ Mass transportation: Take the Maokong Gondola to Zhinan Temple Station, and walk for 3 minutes to the Houshanyue Trail Entrance.
★Driving by yourself: Google Maps satellite navigation, enter "Zhinan Temple Back Hill Parking Lot" (lane 157, section 3, Zhinan Road), you can be navigated to this free parking lot (located next to Maolan Gondola Zhinan Temple Station).
