Airplane Factory in Johannesburg, South Africa was founded in 2006 by two South African friends, James Pitman and Mike Blyth. The company is known for the design and production of Sling, a twoseater light sport aircraft.
This time round they are building a plane titled Sling 5577 in 7 days and which will fly to Europe in 7 days. As if that is not tasking and risky enough, half of their 10 member crew have zero experience in plane manufacturing.
