GNRF Spring Bass Fishing trip to Falls Lake, North Carolina! This was a fun trip with some great fishing and fellowship with some even greater people! Happy to have shared the ride and boat with my dad for 4 days. We traveled 6 hours to North Carolina to fish Falls Lake and Kerr Lake for 4 days. Day 4 got rained out but we made the best of the three days we had. Day 1 was all about finding prespawn bass in the shallow coves and creek beds if they had even moved in there yet. We also had to learn the layout of the lake and the water depths for prespawn bass in that area. The only thing that worked for me Day 1 was a red and black Jackhammer chatterbait from Zman. Some of the other guys had luck on spinnerbaits and split tail flukes. It did not seem like the color mattered. Excited for you guys to see Day 2 at Falls Lake and Kerr Lake.
