The Sami are reindeer herders living in Russian Lapland, who built their culture around this barely domesticated cervid. From Murmansk to the tundra, via the icy ocean and the wild taiga, Rémi tries to decipher the reindeerman link in the Sami territory.

During his journey, he observes High North animals such as the white whale, before reaching the center of the Kola Peninsula, where the Sami organize traditional and astonishing reindeer races.
