On June 6th 2024, Jazz Aviation, which operates flights on behalf of Air Canada Express, officially retired their last CRJ200 from active service.

The CRJ100 and 200 fleet had steadily been shrinking over the past decade or so, and eventually disappeared from Western Canada entirely. By February of this year, they had only 3 of them actively flying out east.

I had not actually flown on any of Jazz’s CRJ200s before, so, just in case, I knew I needed to fly on one of these planes before it was too late.
