This week we are showcasing a groundbreaking innovation in agriculture combining drone technology with natural fertilizers, offering a glimpse into the future of farming.
It'll probably mean busier skies and less people, but that's a few years off as in this episode of Farming Britain we're look the first test flight of a drone delivering natural seaweed fertilisers fron the air. No issues with tractors getting stuck or trying to deliver a product on a crazy gradient, the drone can do it all – in fact it can cover between 150 and 200 ha a day. Then we celebrate with Charlotte as she welcomes her long awaited jersey dairy herd. It's been years in the planning, but now she can sit back and relax and let the dairy robots do the work,,,or maybe not, she's working harder than even as she gets used to be a dairy farmer.
