Weird History Food is going worldwide. From greasy fried chicken and pizzas covered in cheese, to super sweet and sugary treats, Americans love their fast food. There's a McDonald's on the corner streets of even the smallest towns in the US, and few people have to drive more than a mile or two to reach their local Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts.

Because fast food chains are so prevalent across America, it can be difficult to imagine a place where wellrecognized logos don't light up the night skies, promising tasty food and quick service at fair prices. However, these chains don't always go over as well in other countries as they do here in the United States.
