Fast Passage to the Small Isles Aug 2017
Sailing on the Vancouver 27 yacht 'Martha Maria' from Oban to the Isle of Rum. A mainly S/SW wind of F56 was very favourable for this trip and provided a memorably fast passage time of just over 9 hours for the 62 mile sea journey. That's not bad for a 27 foot yacht. Once on the island we hiked up the summit of Hallival, 723m, for some great views.
