Fast Reps vs Slow Reps: Which Is Better?

To understand whether fast or slow reps are preferable we need to first establish what tempo we are looking to use in each exercise. The tempo of an exercise is usually illustrated by 4 numbers and by using this as a reference, we can make exercises more comparable.
