I've dubbed this crochet hat pattern the "Speedy Beanie" because it works up in a flash! I can whip one up in 25 minutes flat from start to finish, making it the perfect craft fair prep item. This crochet beanie only require 7075 yards of any super bulky weight yarn, making it a more profitable inventory prep item. It looks great on both men and women, making it a perfect unisex beanie as well.

The stitches used in this hat pattern are the most basic, beginner level stitches; however, because there is some turning involved, deliberate hook placement, and special joins to help hide the seam in the back, this is a more advanced beginner level hat. If you are a confident beginner, don't let that stop you! I show you in great depth how to make this hat.

Size 10.0 mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Gauge:
Diameter should measure approx. 6.57 inches after completing Rounds 13. If your diameter measures differently, you need to adjust your hook size accordingly and begin again.

Finished Measurements:
Hat is made to fit the average adultsized head, measuring approx. 2124 inches in circumference and approx. 8.59 inches in length.
