In this lecture, EKG is going to cover Fatty Acid (Beta) Oxidation—looking at how fatty acids are oxidised to acetylCoA to yield energy. We're going to break down the process of betaoxidation to yield acetylCoA and how the electrons extracted from the fatty acids travel to the electron transport chain and produce ATP. In the end, we'll calculate the overall ATP yield per BOxidation cycle.
