Our first stop is at a Bucee's, which is kind of a big deal here in Florida because it's our first one.

Then, we spend two days at FaverDykes State Park in December of 2021. The campground was nice, the trails were well managed, and the bathrooms were clean.

We spotted woodland and estuary birds, an armadillo, and a very calm snake trying to warm itself in the sun.

There are canoe and Kayak rentals available, but we opted to fish from shore instead. Next time we visit we may rent a kayak and paddle the local waters as we didn't catch anything, and word has it that fishing is not the best here. But the two days of rest and relaxation were just what the doctor ordered.
