Fehling’s Test is a chemical test for the detection of reducing or non reducing sugar.

Fehling’s test was developed by German chemist Hermann Von Fehling in 1849.

Fehling’s test can also be used for differentiating carbohydrate with ketone functional group and aldose functional group.
