Just like a caterpillar, the 3D Cocooner spins delicate lightweight structures freely in space. With the help of a highspeed handling system, the spinneret is precisely controlled and glues a glass fibre into the desired bionic lattice shape with UVcuring resin.


Ähnlich einer Raupe, spinnt der 3D Cocooner filigrane Leichtbaustrukuren frei in den Raum. Mithilfe eines HighSpeedHandlings wird die Spinndüse präzise angesteuert und verklebt dabei eine Glasfaser mit UVhärtendem Harz zu der gewünschten bionischen Gitterform.
