This is the story of Russ Hilsher, a young man living with FASD. Russ was born in Northern Ontario in 1977. He was diagnosed with FAS at birth and has lived a life with remarkable struggles and accomplishments. This segment of the DVD chronicles his life, his struggles and what he has had to do to deal with and overcome these challenges. Watching this will leave viewers with an appreciation of what individual and families affected by FASD have to cope with along with a sense of hope that with the proper supports, understanding and determination that people with FASD can lead full and productive lives in our communities.
