Field Oriented Control of Permanent Magnet Motors
Building on the previous session, we investigate the Field Oriented Control process in an easy to understand way using animations and simulations. We then introduce the topic of observers and how they can be applied in a fieldoriented application to eliminate the motor shaft sensor, resulting in sensorless control.
