I consider Adriatic JH to be my best tasting fig from the 2019 and 2020 seasons. It doesn't always knock it out of the park, but every now and then it can have a really good flavor. I have stiff competition this season, so I'm not sure that it will be my best tasting variety for 2021, but it is a great tasting fig regardless.

One downside to Adriatic JH is that it is a late fig. I usually don't start getting figs from my until the very end of the season, so anyone than a shorter season than me in Northern Virginia should consider the ripening date of this fig. This year it started ripening for me in midSept because I was able to get my trees about a 23 week head start using a greenhouse, so I should get a lot of ripe figs from my tree this season.
