The rule is clear: you do NOT talk about Fight Club. Even so, the 1999 film became one of the most talkedabout works of the turn of the century. It flopped at the box office, it was slaughtered by critics at the time, but it ended up becoming a phenomenon afterwards. It's what we call a cult movie, a classic of its time.
