Filaria is a parasitic infection transmitted by bite of mosquito. It may lead to elephantiasis, hydrocele, eosinophilia etc..

There are many tests available to diagnose Filaria. Microfilaria antigen test, Filaria antibody test, microscopy and PCR tests.

Depending on the stage and conditions treatment is done. Early treatment provides best results.
