/ ulillillia   I just discovered this bug. From mastering the timing in which a black orb is to appear during the story events part of Pharos, knowing when one appears (the first enemy and every 3 after that), by timing the collection of the black orb exactly on the frame in which it is to appear, the object remains but never disappears. One frame earlier or not being in the correct location and the battle menu comes up. One frame later and being in the correct location, and the black orb is collected where it actually appears and disappears normally. Note that the game runs on 30 fps instead of 60 for the main scene so it's a bit easier to get the timing right.
I have a massive chain going on with chimera brain because this is an easy, fast, and effective method for picking up black orbs, enough to do about 3/4 of what's needed for a certain hunt. In doing so, I discovered this glitch after I realized the timing of when black orbs appear.
