These are the settings that I use on my Garmin unit. Some settings will change as the day and water changes but for the most part this will get you set up.

Garmin Settings

◦ Gain 6075% only adjust this on cloudy & sunny days
◦ Noise Rejection: HIGH
◦ TVG:OFF in shallow water low in deep water
◦ Color Gain: 6070 Depending on water clarity, no more than 5% of your other gain setting.
◦ Color Limit: 1525% with LVS34
◦ Ghost Rejection: MEDIUM
◦ Reverse Range: MINIMUM
◦ Grid lines: OFF
◦ Focus: Auto Fresh, 120135% adjust this while on lake this adjust the beam angle,
◦ Color Scheme: AMBER OR COPPER, sunny days you can use BLUE
◦ Always shoot out to 5070 when searching for crappie
◦ When fishing bring it back into 3540 for crappie
