This MAP (multi animator project) can be considered as a tribute to my Nicolefocused TAWOG fanfic ‘Claws of Rage’ and revolves around chapter 24 until 27.

———// What happens in the MAP //———
Nicole opens her eyes and looks around. It's dark and probably midnight, so she he starts feeling a bit tired and decides to go to bed. She first gets a glass of water from the kitchen and then makes her way into the living room. Then suddenly, her attention goes to the mirror next to the staircase. She sees her reflection terrifyingly morphing into the 'Upper Limit' version of herself.The glowing yellow pupils inspect her and a broad grin appears on its face. It gets out of the mirror and haunts its normal self, making Nicole feel nothing but insecurity and fear.

Nicole wakes up and gasps. Receiving the power to get up, she slowly approaches the door. Everything feels odd to her when her paw pads touch the floor with every step. Flashbacks of her murder on Brandon distract her, but she tries to focus on the light that comes from underneath the door. She encounters Richard in the living room and has a talk with him. How it first starts reassuring, Richard didn’t have a great choice of words when he eventually admits his fear. Nicole gets extremely enraged by this and storms off upstairs to the bathroom. There, due to her trigger, her Stage 4 transformation starts to unfold itself while Richard followed her upstairs. He tries calming her down and apologises, but Nicole’s monstrousness already took full control and she attacks him. She gives in to the pain and shortly after chases Richard in her feral rage.

Richard escapes to the kids’ room and talks with them. Unfortunately for them, Nicole found her husband’s hiding spot and is about to violently attack her family. Richard sternly tries to protect his children, who are the most terrified. Nicole snaps out of it when she sees her frightened kids and breaks down, sobbing in shame and anger towards herself. Richard tries to reassure her and the kids eventually do the same. Nicole gets reminded of the fact no matter how bad her condition is, her family will always be there to support her.
