Anyone who has ever watched pro coverage has probably noticed something peculiar. The best pros, the ones who really bomb like Mcbeth, Drew, Eagle and Simon, all do something in common. They all walk to the front of the tee and do a few slow pawing motions with the disc.
For years I watched them do this, and never thought it was anything other than a visualization exercise. What I didn't know then was that they were doing something entirely different. They were probing for "The Bullet", as I've taken to calling it.
In this video I discuss the idea of "Finding the Bullet". It's a simple technique for letting your brain tell you what angle of attack you should be taking for a particular disc, based on that disc's inertial mass. This is extremely helpful for hitting your line exactly once you understand the proper sequence and biomechanics. Enjoy!
