Inspired by reallife events, the campaign takes players through iconic locations such as East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, and the Soviet KGB headquarters. Adler is joined by familiar faces from the Black Ops series, including Mason, Woods, and Hudson, as well as new characters like Adler's MACVSOG friend Sims, Mossad fixer Lazar, and MI6 officer Park. Players take on the role of a custom character, codenamed "Bell," with the ability to choose their intelligence agency, appearance, nationality, gender, and personality traits that provide unique ingame perks. With multiple endings determined by player choices throughout the campaign, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War offers an immersive and captivating gaming experience.
