Pretty pumped on this new Gen 6 Slash 9.8 TType GX AXS! We had some warm days and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to start to get a feel of how the bike was. I built it up 29er, putting the wheels I had on the Fuel (DD Maxxis tires and Pro Cushcore) with the intent that the Slash would be my enduro racer and up north battle axe. I took the mullet wheels that came on the Slash and put them on the Fuel with EXO+ Maxxis and the new Trail Cushcore. I have my PNW cockpit and Tailored Ride Wrap again. This bike feels a lot lighter than it weighs. I weighed it in at 37.8 Lbs. The ride feel was more agile than I was expecting, and I felt it did not have much for drag while pedaling up hill. Obviously, this was just my second ride and not at a trail that truly tests this bikes capability, but that was how it felt on a small local track. I’m excited to see how the bike feels on some big stuff up north this year!
