In the Cruiser variant, there is a more leisurefocused layout with access to a smart twin guest with a separate bathroom amidships. Forward, there is an owner’s cabin with a split toilet and and shower room.
The 42 is a very safe and easy boat to move around and lends itself to solo crewing. There is lots of deck stowage, plentiful grab rails and a pair of side doors that make moving from the interior deck as smooth as possible.
The driving experience and its excellent hull are a big part of the 42’s draw. It makes light work of heavy seas but also has the performance and handling to outrun sportscruisers of a similar size.
