This is the first tethered testflight of the improved version of the StarLite UAV helicopter, now designated as the HeavyLift 4rotorblade SVU200, designed and built by Mr. Dennis Fetters for the Hunan Sunward Science and Technology Co in China. It is powered by a Rotax 582 engine producing 78 horsepower, and capable of lifting 200kg of payload and with a top speed of 209km/hr. This first flight is performed by a person that is only a pilot of small RC type helicopters, and has never flown a real helicopter. This flight is also without the benefit of any electronic stabilizing systems, showing the natural stabilizing effects of the newly designed rotorhead and control system that Mr. Fetters specifically designed for the use on UAV helicopters. Further flight tests will be preformed in February 2012 by an experienced UAV test pilot.
