[Joe] On the last day of our road trip to search for a home in California, we visit houses around the Hollywood Hills and surrounding area. There were some gems out there for sure!
We are looking literally high and low for the right home with the right balance of value, size, quality, aesthetics, neighborhood, schools, and diversity. With so many people under one roof with different ambitions, finding the right house has been challenging. With the right house in the right configuration and management, the kids can get their exercise in each day, everyone can work in their own space with concentration, the house can be kept cleaner, we can explore nature, the groceries can be picked up on the routes back home, the schools can be in walking distance, and the kids could join the church choir around the corner. While finding a perfect home like this comes with a huge responsibility (or price tag), a successful family household working in purpose is not guaranteed. Alena and I are constantly reminded to seek the house that aligns us to our purpose as, Christians, Parents, and Professionals.
