For your first nonprofit board meeting, there are several items you need to discuss and vote on. In this video, I'm covering agenda items that you can add to your first nonprofit board meeting. This is the official board meeting where you will make several decisions, but as I explain in the video, there should be some prep work before getting to this meeting. If you want to form a nonprofit organization, you should know the official process for running your first board meeting.

You should be voting in your nonprofit bylaws, decision to move forward to incorporate your nonprofit's mission and purposes and more. In your first official board meeting, you need to make sure everything is covered because the minutes will be a public record, and you need the documentation in case the IRS asks for more information
