As we spoke about in part one, one species we have a soft spot for is the Perch, and we always enjoy fishing for them. Described by many anglers as the 'biggest of fish', when they reach specimen size, there's no doubting they're extremely impressive.

We'd heard a few rumours, that a lake not too far from where we live, contained a good head of Perch, including some extremely special fish, way beyond our PB's. In our first session we didn't connect with any giants, but we certainly felt there was definitely some truth in the rumours, so returned for a second session!

Did we finally prove the rumours true?
