What an absolutely brutal day on the water. Water temperatures were around 38 degrees. And the Water Rose for 2 days prior and was on a fall when we put in at pelican island boat ramp! There were massive amounts of debris in the water and getting the proper boat positioning and right bait presentation was extremely difficult. Overall, i think we managed to do a decent job but that's part of fishing sometimes its trial and error till you figure out a pattern and start producing some bites!!! It was an absolute Grind. But it is always a good time when you're with your brothers out on the river soaking some fresh baits waiting for that mega slam!!!
