I've featured a few Sega Genesis Model 2's on the channel previously, but when I was contacted about the issue with this particular system I was intrigued. It has a very strange problem with its graphics, and one that I found close to no information about anywhere else.

I decided to take on the challenge and accepted this donation, figuring it would be a unique repair and a good learning exercise. The previous owner informed me that the symptoms of this console only appeared after a recap attempt with a kit that they had purchased from Console5.
