If there was one thing I needed to fix on 2014 Jaguar FType S, it was the sticky buttons. Sticky buttons are common in early 2000s luxury cars, the switches are coated in a soft touch coating that breaks down overtime and becomes a nasty sticky goo. I searched for how to fix this and ended up with a bunch of different ideas to try out. Today we're going to buy all those things (even though you probably already have all these common items sitting around your house) and test them. No matter what happens you'll need very little of any chemical or make up wipes to get the entire car cleaned up.

The Ferrari guys recommend refinishing their switches with Testors Dullcote to protect them after removing the coating with IPA.
