This is my fourth flight report. In this one I’m taking you in my first ever long haul/intercontinental/heavy flight. I flew from Amsterdam to New York JFK in economy on one of my favourite airlines, Delta Airlines! During my internship at AMS Delta flights were one of my favourites to handle and that’s when my love for Delta was born. After years of dreaming it was finally time to go to my favourite country for the first time: The United States
I flew there again a few months later on another airline so subscribe not to miss these flight reports!

Seat: the seat was very comfortable and legroom was good as well
In flight entertainment: lots of choice between music, movies, series, games etc. Although some movies didn’t have Dutch or any subtitles at all. Luckily this isn’t as much as a problem for me
Food: food was great, we had food service twice and throughout the flight snacks were available to take for free in the AFT galley.
Crew: crew was really nice and helpful. Went to have a talk with them and they were really enthusiastic.
Amsterdam Airport: fortunately we didn’t have to wait in line as long as they said on the news. Lovely airport, always love to fly from my workplace ;)
JFK Airport: Great airport but extremely long lines at immigrations. My suitcase was damaged and it was really hard to find the Delta desk. In the end we had to walk all the way into domestic arrivals (which you could enter right from landside?). Crew at the desk wasn’t really nice.
