Recipe for: Fluffy Krenvirshki with Lutenitsa and Pickled Cucumbers. Deliciousness!

Required products:

For the dough:
720 g of flour (presifted)
400 ml. warm fresh milk
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
7 grams of dry yeast
60 g of cow butter
60 ml of oil
1 egg + 1 egg white

For the filling:
4 sausages (cut in half)
4 pickled cucumbers (cut into 4 lengthwise)
Lutenica for spreading
Savory for sprinkling

To spread:
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of fresh milk

Method of preparation:

Preparation of the dough:
Add the sugar and dry yeast to the warm fresh milk. Mix well and leave for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Make a well in the middle and add the activated yeast, egg, egg white, oil and butter.
Knead a smooth and soft dough. Form into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Spread a little oil on top of the dough, cover with a lid and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Shaping the sausages:
After the dough has risen, knead it slightly and roll it into a circle about half a centimeter thick.
Divide the dough into 8 equal triangles (like a pizza).
At the wide end of each triangle, spread a little lutenitsa, place 2 pieces of pickled cucumbers and half a sausage. Roll up carefully like a bun.

Proofing and baking:
Place the sausages on a tray lined with baking paper and cover with a towel. Leave to rise for another 30 minutes.
Beat the yolk with the fresh milk and coat the sausages. Sprinkle with savory.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (no fan), in the lower part of the oven, for about 2530 minutes.
The sausages are ready when they are golden and fluffy.
