For this flight, I took a short hop from Tracy to Modesto for lunch from the Central California Valley Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force. lets check it out...

During a lot of my training, I flew into Modesto and the tower would ask if we were their for the lunch.
Up until this point, I had never actually stopped in.

After my engine out, I was speaking some fellow 210 pilots who are based in Modesto and they mentioned that the Commemorative Air Force hosts a Breakfast on the 2nd Saturday and a Lunch on the 4th Saturday every month. I finally decided to go check it out.

Technically, it would have been cheaper and faster for me to just drive in, but where is the fun in that? After all, it was a flyn.

The lunch was very tasty, they had hamburgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes. I didn't have a milkshake, but I'm told that's the best part.
